Some Facts About ‘N-k’

1. Nkenge’s brothers wondered if she would ever wear skirts and high heels. As a child she was such a tomboy! A stranger once called at the gate to tell her mother Allison “look the little girl lying down on the wall!”
2. Nkenge hated being called “smart” by teachers and adults as a child as she (Nkenge) felt it made her a target to the other kids.
3. Nkenge never had self esteem issues as her mother Allison and her brothers told her how pretty she was almost every day growing up.
4. Nkenge would love to perform full time (sing, dance, act) but she knows the bills need to be paid.
5. Family is everything to Nkenge and she especially adores her nieces and nephews so she jumped at the idea to include them all in the wedding procession.
